(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Jim Irsay dropped a bomb on Twitter on Thursday when he announced that Andrew Luck was recovering from successful right shoulder surgery.
He said the injury had been lingering since 2015 but that Luck would be ready for the start of the regular season.
Meanwhile, NFL Media's Ian Rapoport reported that Luck is expected to start throwing in three months with a full recovery of six months. Three months would be right around when the Colts are in their offseason program while six months would put him right before training camp.
Luck made frequent appearances on the injury report this season for a shoulder injury but only missed playing time after suffering a concussion.
