(STATE COLLEGE, PA) - James Blackmon Jr.’s 3-point buzzer-beater sent Indiana to a 78-75 victory over Penn State.
Blackmon took an in-bounds pass with less than five second left in regulation and was able to sprint down the court and launch the ball with plenty of time to spare.
Blackmon along with Thomas Bryant and Robert Johnson scored 17 points each to help the Hoosiers survive a late rally by the Nittany Lions.
"They definitely grew up," Tom Crean said. "It would've been a shame if they hadn't gotten this win, because they earned it."
Indiana shot just under 50 percent from the field and earned their third win in four games. They next take on Michigan State on Saturday.
