(IOWA CITY, IA) - Unranked Iowa knocked off No. 17 Purdue 83-78 on Thursday night.
Hawkeyes' senior guard Peter Jok scored a game-high 29 points to go along with eight assists and six rebounds.
Iowa shot a blistering 56.7 percent from the field and were able to rally from a nine-point deficit at halftime.
"Jok made some tough shots," Boilermakers coach Matt Painter said. "Maybe not for him, but tough for everyone else."
Caleb Swanigan led Purdue with 17 points but missed a go-ahead layup with 13.8 seconds left in the game.
The Boilermakers don't play again until Tuesday when they host Illinois.
