(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Robert Mathis may have hung up his cleats but that doesn’t mean he’s leaving the organization he spent his entire career with.
Speaking to the Colts' official website, the franchise's all-time sack leader said he wants to help the team with their younger defensive players.
"I think I have made it known that I definitely want to push my knowledge of pass rushing on to the younger guys. Any shape, form or fashion that can be done, I am more than open to it."
The Colts were in the bottom half of the league in sacks this season with 33.
