(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Pacers couldn’t overcome a 40-point second quarter by the Knicks as they fell to New York 109-103, losing their third straight game.
Five Knicks scored in double-figures with Carmelo Anthony leading the way with 26 points while Derrick Rose added 20 and six assists.
New York overcame a 14-point deficit after the first quarter with a thunderous 40-point outburst in the second.
"We gotta be ready," Paul George said about giving up the early lead. "We can't have no drops at any point in the game."
George led all scorers with 31 points while Myles Turner had a 22 point and 10 rebound double-double.
The Pacers hit the road on Thursday when they'll take on the up-and-coming Minnesota Timberwolves.
