(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Pacers were able to bounce back from their blowout loss in London as they edged the New Orleans Pelicans 98-95.
Jeff Teague fell just short of a triple-double with 16 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds while Paul George led with a game-high 19 points.
Myles Turner added 18 points and 12 rebounds of his own. Teague's big game combined with Anthony Davis' injury helped Indiana hold off New Orleans.
Davis landed hard after being knocked down by Myles Turner on an attempted dunk. Davis would limp to the bench and not return and was listed with a right thumb and left hip injury, X-rays were negative.
Teague broke a 91-91 tie with a 3-pointer with under four minutes remaining to give Indiana the lead for good.
"We let them hang around without their star on the floor," Paul George said after the game. "We're floating around .500. We've got to get some consistency; we've got to find a way."
The Pacers embark on a three-game west coast trip starting on Wednesday when they visit the Sacramento Kings.
