(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Pacers are halfway through the season but continue to struggle with what kind of team they want to be.
Their current three-game losing streak had the team going back to basics in Tuesday's practice.
"We did drills where no one had a ball. Having drills where we were only allowed one dribble or two dribbles," Paul George said. "It was a way to open up the offense. We've had an issue all season of becoming stagnant."
During a 40-point Knicks second quarter in Monday's game there were very loud boos coming from the crowd. George said he doesn't agree with the method but says he respects the fans' chance to voice their disapproval.
"It's not like we're out there not giving it our all, trying to lose on purpose. It doesn't help booing us. I get it though. They expect us to play at a higher level. They do what they want. They pay their hard earned money but just know that we work harder off of cheers than boos."
The Pacers will hear plenty of boos on Thursday head into hostile territory to take on the Minnesota Timberwolves.
