(EAST LANSING, MI) - Caleb Swanigan used a hostile crowd to his advantage as the sophomore scored 25 points and 17 rebounds to lead Purdue past Michigan State 84-73.
Swanigan drew the ire of Spartans' fans because he committed to play for Tom Izzo's team before changing his mind and joining the Boilermakers.
"I was prepped for it," he said on the boos.
Six Boilermakers scored in double-figures including the entire starting lineup. Vince Edwards, P.J. Thompson and Dakota Mathias each had 10 points while Carsen Edwards and Isaac Haas had 12 and 11 points respectively.
No. 20 Purdue has now won three straight games and visit Nebraska on Sunday.
