Cline's Overtime 3-pointers Lift Purdue Over Penn State

(STATE COLLEGE, PA) - Purdue survived an upset scare against unranked Penn State 74-70 in overtime.

Ryan Cline lifted the No. 14 Boilermakers by scoring six of his 11 points in overtime with a pair of 3-pointers and pushed Purdue's win streak to six games.

"Thank the Lord Cline knocked those two shots down," head coach Matt Painter said after the game.

Six Boilermakers scored in double-figures with Vince Edwards leading the way with 14 and Caleb Swanigan adding 10 points, nine rebounds and four assists.

Purdue improves to 23-5 and next visit Michigan on Saturday.
