(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - Purdue made a late push to get past the Hoosiers 69-64.
Vince Edwards matched career-high with 26 points while Caleb Swanigan recorded another double-double, this time for 16 points and 14 rebounds.
A double-foul call on Swanigan and Indiana's Thomas Bryant in the final sixty-two seconds helped ice the game for the Boilermakers.
"It was momentum no question," Tom Crean said after the game before letting out a deep sigh. "There's not much more I can add than that."
Boilermakers coach Matt Painter agreed that the foul call was a turning point.
"They get that call, they go to the free throw line and Swanigan is out. We get the call and we're taking the ball out of bounds and while we wouldn't be shooting free throws but, you know, then Bryant's out. So it was a big call."
Byrant led Indiana with 23 points as the Hoosiers dropped back-to-back games. Meanwhile, Purdue earned their 20th win of the season and ran their win streak to three.
The Hoosiers try to avoid a three-game slide when they welcome the Michigan Wolverines on Sunday while Purdue goes for four wins in a row on Tuesday when they host Rutgers.
