(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - After General Manager Chris Ballard met with the media at the Scouting Combine on Wednesday it was Chuck Pagano’s turn on Thursday.
Pagano stunned reporters when he revealed some of his infamous "coach speak" clichés were on the sidelines.
"My blinders are off. My earmuffs are off," he said before assuring that the change was only temporary. "For the time being. They'll go back on when we get closer to the season."
Pagano also acknowledged that 8-8 records are not going to cut it.
"We know how we are judged and it's by wins and losses. 8-8 the past two years is not good enough. I think we all understand the expectations that come with this job. As far as I'm concerned we're all on one-day contracts."
