(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - As NFL free agency officially began on Thursday the Colts were relatively quiet, making two small roster moves.
They found their replacement for Pat McAfee as they signed former Minnesota Vikings punter Jeff Locke to a two-year, $3.45 million with $1.25 million guaranteed.
They also have reportedly agreed to a one-year, $2.5 million deal with former Patriots outside linebacker Barevious Mingo. He was a first-round pick by the Browns in 2013 and was traded to New England last summer where he spent most of last season on special teams and in situational pass rushing.
The Colts were said to be in the mix for wide receiver Alshon Jeffery but he signed a one-year, $14 million deal with the Philadelphia Eagles.
