(NEW YORK) - The Pacers stumbled down the stretch and blew a 13-point lead as they fell to the New York Knicks 87-81.
Carmelo Anthony fueled the rally by scoring 15 of his 22 points in the fourth quarter and added 13 rebounds while Derrick Rose scored 16.
"There ain't no excuse for that," Pacers coach Nate McMillan said of the blown lead. "When you don't play the game the right way you look like that. Stopped moving the ball, started taking quick shots, stopped defending, stopped screening, so you know, that's what you look like when you don't play the right way. There's no excuse for that execution, or lack of execution."
Paul George led the Pacers with 22 and 10 rebounds while Myles Turner added 17 points.
It's a quick turnaround for Indiana as they turn right back around and host the Charlotte Hornets tonight at the Fieldhouse with tip-off at 7pm.
