(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Pacers return to Banker’s Life Fieldhouse proved to be the energy boost they needed as they knocked off the Detroit Pistons 115-98 and completing the season sweep of their Central division rival.
Paul George was one of six Pacers to score in double figures, leading the team with 21 points and eight rebounds.
"This is the stride that we really need to blossom," he said after the game. "We really need to start trending upward and it's not going to get any easier. We're still playing playoff teams, so we've got to look at it as a fun battle."
Thaddeus Young added 18 points of his own while the Blue & Gold shot 50 percent from the field and just under 48 percent from 3-point range.
Indiana trailed in the game only once for a grand total of 22 seconds and finished with their largest margin of victory since February 4, coincidentally when they played the Pistons.
It was a quick trip home as the Pacers get right back on the road Friday when they visit the Milwaukee Bucks.
