(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Despite reports on Wednesday that said the Colts would likely not be signing defensive lineman Johnathan Hankins, they did on Thursday.
He and the team struck a three-year, $30 million contract on Thursday with $14.5 million guaranteed.
Hankins was largely considered the top free agent remaining on the market and turned down a four year, $28 million deal from his former team, the New York Giants.
The 25-year old started all 16 regular-season games last season for New York and had 43 total tackles, three sacks and a forced fumble.
