(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - In his season-ending press conference Pacers head coach Nate McMillan said despite a four-game sweep by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first-round he considers the season a success.
"Our No. 1 goal was to make the playoffs and we did that. This was not a rebuild, it was more of a reload, so the No. 1 goal was accomplished."
McMillan said he expects Paul George back next season "because he is under contract" and said the team has to improve in road games.
"I thought for us on the road, we just didn't have that mental toughness that you need."
