(PHILADELPHIA, PA) - The Pacers kept cruising towards the regular-season finish line as they defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 120-111 making it their fourth straight win.
Indiana remains in the seventh seed in the east but both Chicago and Miami won their respective games so the Pacers didn't get any extra wiggle room.
Paul George, who was named Eastern Conference Player of the Week earlier in the day, led the Pacers with 27 points before being ejected after getting into an altercations with Sixers guard Gerald Henderson.
"He was throwing jabs, throwing punches at my stomach all night and I didn't retaliate until late in the game when the officials weren't doing anything about it," George said. "I got a double technical for doing nothing. And he threw an elbow at my neck and I get another technical for nothing. It was a crappy officiating job."
Thaddeus Young added 20 points while Myles Turner put up an 18 point and 13 rebound double-double.
The Pacers wrap up the regular season on Wednesday when they host the Atlanta Hawks and will have to play the waiting game to see if they are headed to the postseason.
