(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Colts signed first-round pick Malik Hooker to his rookie contract on Thursday.
The Ohio State safety signed a four-year deal worth a reported $12.6 million with a $7.2 million signing bonus. His first round selection also gives the Colts a fifth-year option.
"There's a lot of excitement going through my body right now," he said after putting pen to paper. "The Colts were one of my favorite teams growing up so to be a part of a team you rooted for growing up is a special feeling."
The Colts also signed fourth-round pick defensive tackle Grover Stewart which leaves only third-round linebacker Tarell Basham as the only unsigned member of their 2017 draft class.
