(BEDFORD) - The BNL Golf Team shot at 306 in the second day of the Boys High School Golf State Finals and took 8th place.
Last year at State Finals the BNL Boys Golf Team finished in 11th place, making this year's outcome a positive one.
According to Ryyan Robb, the Stars earned an earlier tee time and a moving speech from Coach Wright saying that "it will never be the same" as Seniors Koby Robb and Blake Martin graduate.
The Boys then went on to fire a 146 in the front nine holes, but couldn't keep the momentum up in the back nine as they shot 160 Ryyan said.
Below are the individual scores for the Boys Golf:
Daylen Tidd: 1 under par 71 with a birdie on 18
Koby Rob: 79
Jalen Hodges: 75
Blake Martin: 80
Ethan Stanley: 84
Daylen Tidd finished 19th overall while Jalen Hodges and Koby Robb tied for 43rd.
"It is a great accomplishment for a group that made consecutive State Finials appearances and an all state top ten finish in 2017," Ryyan said.
Ryyan said Coach Wright thanked the underclassman, Tidd and Stanley, for their efforts and asked them to continue to work hard as the seniors had over the past four years.
