(INDIANAPOLIS) - A day after it was announced that Andrew Luck, Clayton Geathers and Kendall Langford would start on the PUP list the Colts announced that first-round pick Malik Hooker would also be on that list after the team said he was dealing with a tweaked hamstring he suffered in a conditioning drill.
GM Chris Ballard made a point to note that Hooker's appearance on the list was not due to his offseason hernia surgery.
Rookies had already reported to training camp while veterans don't need to until Saturday.
Hooker can be activated at any time, unlike Geathers who was placed on the regular season PUP list and will miss at least the first six games of the season.
Darius Butler, T.J. Green and Mathias Farley are expected to fill in with both Hooker and Geathers sidelined.
