(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - As the Colts got back to work on Monday in preparation for Saturday’s showdown against the Pittsburgh Steelers Chuck Pagano said they divvied up practice reps for quarterbacks a little differently.
"Stephen (Morris) got second-team reps and Phillip (Walker) got third-team reps," Pagano said.
Asked if Morris' strong showing against the Cowboys would lead to more playing time on Saturday, Pagano said, "We'll see how the week goes. Scotty (Tolzien) is still going to get his amount and Stephen will get the second-team reps now."
Morris looked sharp in Saturday's loss to Dallas as he went 11-for-15 for 111 yards and a touchdown.
The Colts made some roster moves on Monday as they signed free agent cornerbacks Chris Culliver and Corey White while placing cornerback Darryl Morris on injured reserve and waiving Blake Muir with an injury designation.
Culliver started his career with the San Francisco 49ers in 2011 and most recently played for the Miami Dolphins last season. White was a part of the Buffalo Bills last season and was originally drafted by the New Orleans Saints in 2012.
