(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Entering the final year of his deal with the Colts, running back Frank Gore says he has every intention of playing next season even if it isn’t with Indianapolis.
"If I am successful this year and I want to play next year someone will pick me up, if not here somewhere else. But I'm not focused on next year, I'm focused on making this team better now," the 32-year old said.
Gore added that he has been frustrated with his time with the Colts because of consecutive 8-8 seasons.
"I thought I was the one missing piece they needed to get them over the top," referring to the Colts coming off an AFC Championship game appearance in 2014. "It didn't happen and yeah, it was frustrating. It's a team game. Coming in and what it was and going backwards, that's tough."
