(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Pacers unveiled their state-of-the-art St. Vincent Center practice facility in a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday.
The $50 million, five-story and 130,000-square foot took 18 months to build and will not only feature two NBA-regulation courts, a theater-style video room, a high-end training room and equipment but the top two floors will also be a functioning rehabilitation center for treating patients that will open next week.
"It's a fitness center on steroids," Pacers coach Nate McMillan said. "It's not so much the equipment, it's the space,"
Myles Turner marveled at the size of the building.
"Last year when we had a full team in there trying to work out, we were bumping heads."
The St. Vincent Center is located across the street from Banker's Life Fieldhouse.
