(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Colts center Ryan Kelly limped off the field in Thursday’s joint practice with the Detroit Lions and was spotted on crutches later in the day.
While there is no official word from the team CBS 4's Mike Chappell reports that a source with knowledge of the situation says that the second year center will 'miss as much as three weeks' with a foot injury.
That prognosis would still be before the Colts' regular-season opener against the Rams but it put the center position at a huge weak spot as backup Brian Schwenke is still on the preseason PUP list with an ankle injury leaving undrafted rookie Deyshawn Bond at the moment.
