(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Jacoby Brissett put the Indianapolis Colts on his back and led them to a 31-28 win over the Cleveland Browns for their first win of the season.
Brissett threw for 259 yards, threw for a touchdown and ran for two more.
In the closing seconds of the first quarter Brissett scampered for a 5-yard touchdown and added a 7-yard run for a second score in the early part of the second. Leading 14-7 Brissett would find T.Y. Hilton for a 61-yard strike to go up two scores. Hilton hauled in seven catches for 153 yards while Frank Gore rushed 25 times for 57 yards and a touchdown.
The Colts defense picked off DeShone Kizer three times and the team next heads into a primetime showdown against the Seattle Seahawks next Sunday night.
Meanwhile, we may be inching closer to seeing Andrew Luck in action as multiple reports say the Colts franchise quarterback will possibly be active on the practice field this week. While he is not expected to see game action in the Sunday night game against Seattle Ian Rapoport of NFL Media noted that he is eyeing Week 6 against the Tennessee Titans as a possible return date.
