(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - The Indiana Hoosiers lost wide receiver Nick Westbrook for the season with a torn ACL.
Westbrook, who led the Hoosiers in receiving last season, was injured on the opening kickoff in IU's 49-21 loss to Ohio State last Thursday.
"As we've shared with our team, sometimes life's not fair," head coach Tom Allen said. "Things happen, it's tough. He's got a good attitude about it. He knows it's a challenge he has to overcome."
Westbrook finished last season with 54 receptions for 995 yards and six touchdowns.
