(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Day 2 of Pacers training camp saw the team show a more uptempo pace than Day 1 with Myles Turner calling it “the best practice of my career”.
The topic of the day was Lance Stephenson taking on a sixth man role, one that he fully embraces.
"My job is to get on that court and play as hard as I can," Stephenson said. "I'm happy to have a role. The last three years I didn't have a role. I'm here to do whatever the team needs me to do so I am fully embracing this opportunity."
Myles Turner added that Stephenson "provides a spark" off the bench, both for the team and the fans and believes he will thrive in the role.
Also, Pacers single-game tickets go on sale today at 10am.
