(INDIANAPOLIS) - There’s a new assistant coach on the Colts staff, former all-pro defensive end Robert Mathis.
The former QB nightmare has been helping the Colts since he retired before week 17 of the 2016 season but it wasn't until yesterday that the Colts officially gave him his new title of "Pass Rush Consultant".
"This is the only place that I know, the only place that took a chance on me, so I feel this is my way of giving back," Mathis said. "I love this organization. I feel like I'm a loyal guy. I feel at home here," he continued. "It gives my family the best opportunity for success being here."
