(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - As the Indianapolis Colts head to Cincinnati to take on the Bengals both teams are in a similar situation: they are desperate for a win.
The Bengals sit at 2-4 and quickly falling behind the Steelers and Ravens while the Colts have dropped into the basement of the AFC South at 2-5 and looking to avoid a three-game losing streak. It's safe to say that whichever team loses they will be wise to start making plans for a top-10 pick in next year's draft.
On Thursday, the Colts seemed to realize that Sunday's game is getting close to "must-win" territory.
"There isn't a magic pill," kicker Adam Vinateri said. "All we can do is go out there and be as prepared as possible, study our playbooks, play better and hopefully get out of there with a win, then we try to do it again the following week."
Chuck Pagano echoed that statement and said winning cures all.
"You love going on the road, you love being in hostile environments. There's nothing better than that environment and being in the situation and circumstance that we're in to galvanize a group of men to go get a job done."
