(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - For the third consecutive week Andrew Luck will not participate in practice and on Monday Colts General Manager Chris Ballard gave an update on Luck’s status on the team’s weekly radio show.
"He's been having some soreness in his shoulder. We gave him the shots a couple of weeks ago and hoping it would settle it down but it hadn't quite settled down yet so we wanted to get some answers. He went to a couple of doctors to get some other opinions but Andrew has exhausted every avenue to try and get ready to play and that was our hope also so we hope to have more answers later this week."
As for the trade deadline, which is Tuesday at 4pm EST Ballard said while the team will certainly listen to offers teams will have to "really do something to pry one of our players away right now".
T.Y. Hilton and Vontae Davis are names making the round on the rumor mill as potential trade candidates.
