(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts were embarrassed in a 27-0 blowout loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars at home and had some key injuries and finger pointing in the process.
The Jaguars defense sacked Jacoby Brissett ten times, a record high for the Colts since they moved to Indianapolis.
Blake Bortles threw for a season-high 330 yards as Jacksonville jumped out to a 14-0 lead and never looked back. The Jaguars racked up 518 total yard to Indy's 232 and running back T.J. Yeldon ran for 122 yards and a touchdown on just nine carries. Adding injury to insult, the Colts lost first-round pick Malik Hooker for the season with a torn ACL and MCL.
In the locker room after the game the Colts began showing signs of a team on the verge of combustion as wide receiver T.Y. Hilton pointed fingers at the offensive line for the reason the offense has struggled.
"We were winning our matchups," he said in reference to the wide receiver group. "We need to take some pride up front and block. What if we put them back there to take those hits? We need to start up front."
