(WEST LAFAYETTE,IN) - The Purdue Boilermakers did exactly what they should have done in their game against Chicago State as they annihilated the Cougars 114-42.
Sophomore Carsen Edwards led the No. 20-ranked Boilermakers with a career-high 25 points while Vince Edwards recorded a 15 point and 12 rebound double-double.
In their first two games, the Boilermakers have scored over 100 points in each contest, a first since February 1974. Dakota Mathias added 18 points while P.J. Thompson had 16.
Purdue is off to a dominant 2-0 start and next visit Marquette on Tuesday.
