(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - Robert Johnson and Juwan Morgan each had big games as the Indiana Hoosier topped South Florida 70-53 in the Hoosier Tip-off Classic.
Johnson led all scorers with 21 points while Morgan filled the stat sheet with 15 points, 10 rebounds, 4 blocks and a steal.
"When you're the guy you count on the most, you expect him to make plays and you expect him to be aggressive. Whether he's missing or not, we need Rob to be that guy," coach Archie Miller said. "I thought Juwan basically jump-started the team in the second half. He played extremely hard."
It was a dominant second-half for Indiana. Trailing 34-33 at halftime IU would outscore the Bulls 37-19 in the final 20 minutes. They also forced South Florida into 17 turnovers.
The Hoosiers improve to 2-2 on the season and host Arkansas State on Wednesday.
