(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Pacers return home did not solve their recent woes as they dropped their third straight game in a 117-112 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans.
It was another dominant performance by Pelicans' big men Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins as Davis scored a game-high 37 points and added 14 rebounds, four steals, two blocks and one assist while Cousins tallied 32 points, 13 rebounds, six assists and two blocks.
The Pacers went toe-to-toe with New Orleans in the first half and even led 75-61 at halftime but a dismal second-half performance cost them the game.
"Same thing that happened the last two games, we came out flat in the third quarter," Myles Turner said afterwards. "We came out flat and they took advantage of it."
Turner led Indiana with 21 points and 12 rebounds while six Pacers total scored in double-figures.
It's another quick turnaround for Indiana as they have yet another back-to-back tonight when they visit the Detroit Pistons at 7pm.
