(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indiana Pacers cruised to their second consecutive win as they routed the Sacramento Kings 101-83.
Bojan Bogdanovic led the Pacers with 17 points while Domontas Sabonis racked up a 12 point and 16 rebound double-double. Victor Oladipo added 14 points of his own as the Pacers dominated from 3-point range, hitting 12 of 29 compared to Sacramento's paltry 2 for 14.
Indiana jumped out to a 9-0 lead to start the game and led 55-30 by halftime. The Pacers had 25 assists in the game, which is something Nate McMillan was extremely pleased with.
"We want to keep the ball moving," he said. "What we're trying to do is create other opportunities to where we get open looks as opposed to contested shots. If we're dishing out 25 assists or more, everybody's touching the ball and it's very difficult to defend that type of movement."
The Pacers will try to make it three straight wins when they visit LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in the second game of a back-to-back tonight. The Cavs have struggled mightily to start the season, losing their last three games. Pacers/Cavs tips-off at 7pm.
