(ANN ARBOR, MI) - Isaac Haas made a go-ahead free throw with four seconds left as the fifth-ranked Purdue Boilermakers held on for dear life and survived Michigan in a 70-69 win.
"What goes through your head is all the times you practiced," Haas said on improving at the free throw line. "It was just natural for me. I knew once I got fouled, I was going to make at least one."
Haas finished with 17 points and six rebounds as teammate Casen Edwards led the Boilermakers with 19 points.
Purdue made twelve 3-pointers in the game, ran their win streak to 12 games and improved to 5-0 in Big Ten conference play. They get back to work on Saturday when they visit Minnesota.
