(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Colts closed out their 2017 season with a 22-13 victory over the Houston Texans to finish 4-12.
Jacoby Brissett threw for a touchdown and 114 yards through the air while Frank Gore ran for 100 yards and became the fifth player in NFL history to surpass 14,000 career rushing yards. Gore joined the elite group of Emmitt Smith, Walter Payton, Barry Sanders and Curtis Martin of players who have hit the 14,000 rushing yard milestone. He also extended his NFL-record streak of consecutive seasons with 1,200 yards from scrimmage to 12 years.
The win snapped Indianapolis' six-game losing streak, which began back on November 12.
After the game the Colts fired head coach Chuck Pagano after six seasons and will begin a busy offseason as they begin a head coaching search, hope for Andrew Luck to return from a long battle with injuries and decide what to do with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.
