(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Pacers got some very good (and much needed) news on Thursday as Victor Oladipo returned to practice for the first time in 10 days.
Oladipo had missed the last four Pacers games due to a sore right knee but said after practice that he was feeling better.
"My knee feels feathery," he said.
In regards to the team's current five game losing streak, Oladipo believes the team is about to turn a corner.
"We're going to be all right. It was a rough stretch, everybody goes through it, some of the best teams that are doing well now went through it early. We're going through it right now. It's about resilience and trying to figure it out."
While Oladipo wouldn't promise he would play on Saturday against the Chicago Bulls, he said he was itching to get back out there.
"I'm looking forward to Saturday. Feels like I ain't played in forever. It's going to be fun." The Pacers will try to snap their season-long five-game losing streak when they host the Bulls on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the first round of NBA All-Star voting results was released and Pacers guard Victor Oladipo is the third-leading vote getter for guards in the Eastern Conference. Oladipo earned 251,886 votes and trails Boston's Kyrie Irving and Toronto's DeMar DeRozan. No other Pacer is currently in the top 10 for voting.
The next fan voting update will be on January 11 and voting will conclude on January 15.
The 2018 NBA All-Star Game will be on February 18 from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
