(PHOENIX, AZ) - The Indiana Pacers rattled off their fourth win in five games as they routed the Phoenix Suns 120-97.
Darren Collison led seven Pacers in double figures with 19 points while Victor Oladipo added 17 to go with five rebounds and four steals. Domantas Sabonis struggled offensively but pulled down 14 rebounds, ten of which were on the defensive side of the ball.
Indiana shot 54.5 percent from the field and knocked down eleven 3-pointers.
The Suns were led by Josh Jackson's game-high 21 points but they could not keep up with Indiana's pace and hot shooting.
"We wanted to start this road trip off right," Pacers coach Nate McMillan said. "I thought defensively we were focused, making them earn everything they got. Offensively, we had good ball movement. We were pretty consistent with that for 48 minutes."
It was a great start for the Pacers' five-game road trip and they hope to carry their strong play into Utah on Monday night when they take on the Jazz at 9pm EST.
