(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) The No. 3 Purdue Boilermakers kept rolling as they blew out Wisconsin 78-50 to run their winning streak to 14 games.
Carsen Edwards led with 21 points while Vince Edwards added 20 as the Boilermakers made 14 3-pointers in the game.
"We were going to play whatever they gave us," Edwards said about the Badgers' defense. "If they left Isaac Haas 1-on-1, we were going to get the ball to him. If they doubled him, we were going to move it."
Purdue's hot streak has them hitting a bunch of milestones as they has now tied Auburn for the longest active winning streak in the country, matched the best 20-game record in school history, won their 19th in a row at home and are 7-0 in Big Ten conference play for the first time since 1987-88. They also are the league's best 3-point shooting team and have held 11 consecutive opponents to fewer than 70 points.
The Boilermakers will next take on Iowa on Saturday.
