(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) - The Purdue Boilermakers got 20 points and nine rebounds from Isaac Haas as they topped Maryland 75-67 to extend the nation’s longest active winning streak to 18.
Carsen Edwards added 17 points while Vince Edwards had eight points and 11 rebounds.
"We couldn't guard Haas," Maryland head coach Mark Turgeon said. "He's a beast."
Haas and the Boilermakers continue to make history as they winning streak rolls on as Wednesday's win broke the school record for most consecutive wins in league play (13) and maintained the nation's second-longest active home winning streak at 21.
The No. 3-ranked Boilermakers improve to 22-2 on the season and are a perfect 11-0 in conference play. Purdue visits Rutgers on Saturday before two consecutive games against ranked opponents.
