(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Colts head coach Frank Reich continued to build his coaching staff as the team announced a trio of hires on Thursday.
Dave Borgonzi was named linebackers coach while Alan Williams was named a secondary coach and Ray "Bubba" Ventrone will be a special teams coach. Borgonzi spent the past four seasons as a defensive quality control coach for the Buccaneers while Williams was the Lions defensive back and safeties coach the last four seasons and Ventrone spent the last three with the Patriots as an assistant special teams coach.
Meanwhile, Colts quarterback Andrew Luck broke his silence and spoke to the team's website about the hiring of head coach Frank Reich and says he is very excited to get to work.
"He says he is going to be aggressive and install a multiple attack and up-tempo offense and that sounds great. I know all of the best offenses that I've been a part of in my career we've not been static and we've attacked. I'm sure he'll have a great flavor and we'll involve as many people as we can, and attacking defenses is what we're all about."
He added that he is excited to pick Reich's brain over other quarterbacks' styles.
"I hope I can learn from him and ask him how Peyton (Manning) or Carson (Wentz) or Phillip (Rivers) did it, and find the best way for me or for whatever Colt quarterback way that is."
