(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indiana Pacers shuffled their lineup but couldn’t keep up with the Wizards as Washington topped the Blue & Gold 111-102.
Bradley Beal led eight Wizards in double figures with 21 points while Markieff Morris had an 11 point and 10 rebound double-double. Washington was without All-Star guard for the fifth straight game and improved to 5-0 in that stretch.
The Pacers were forced to switch up their lineup hours ahead of tip-off as the team announced that guard Darren Collison will need to undergo arthroscopic knee surgery on his left knee and is expected to be sidelined for the next two to three weeks.
It wasn't long after the Collison news came out that head coach Nate McMillan announced that Victor Oladipo would miss the game due to illness.
Bojan Bogdanovich led all scorers with 29 points while Joe Young added 17 points off the bench.
The Wizards knocked down 55 percent of their shots and forced 15 Pacers turnovers.
The Blue & Gold get back to work on Wednesday when they visit the New Orleans Pelicans.
