(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Colts made their first move in free agency on Wednesday as multiple reports said the team and former Raiders defensive end Denico Autry had agreed on a three-year, $17.8 million deal.
The deal has yet to be signed but fully guarantees $6.5 million and does not contain any guarantees past the first year of the contract.
The 27-year old Autry has started 18 games over the last three seasons with the Raiders and has 10.5 sacks in that span, with five coming last season.
Autry will help beef up a defensive line with Henry Anderson, Johnathan Hankins, All Woods and Margus Hunt under new defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus.
Meanwhile, the Colts lost linebacker Barkevious Mingo to the Seattle Seahawks. Mingo signed a two-year deal worth a reported $6.8 million. Mingo had 47 tackles, two sacks and three forced fumbles in 16 games with Indianapolis last season.
The Colts did hold on to four of their own as the new league year began on Wednesday afternoon as they tendered all four of their exclusive rights free agents.
Cornerback Chris Milton, tight end Erik Swoope, guard Jeremy Vujnovich and long snapper Luke Rhodes all received contract tenders that will keep them in Indianapolis.
Vujnovich started every game and every snap at left guard for the Colts last season.
Rhodes also played in every game while Milton played in 14 games, mostly on special teams.
Swoope missed the entire season with a knee injury.
