(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Colts officially announced their offseason workout program will start on April 9.
Due to the hiring of new head coach Frank Reich, the Colts get a little bit of a head start compared to teams with returning coaches, who can't begin their offseason programs until April 16.
Reich said at the NFL Scouting Combine he expects Andrew Luck to be with the team at the start of the offseason program.
The entire Colts offseason workout program is as follows: the first two weeks of their offseason program will be the weeks of April 9 and April 17, followed by a voluntary veteran minicamp from April 24-25.
Weeks 3 and 4 of offseason workouts will be the weeks of May 1 and May 8 before rookie minicamp from May 11-13.
The week of May 15 will be the fifth and final week of offseason workouts before three straight weeks of OTAs.
Finally, a veteran minicamp will be from June 12-14 before the team breaks until training camp in late July.
