(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Colts regular season schedule was released on Thursday and it features a number of big matchups and storylines.
The Colts will open the season at home on September 9 when they host the Cincinnati Bengals. After that, it is back-to-back road games against the Washington Redskins and the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles.
Week 4 will have the Colts first division opponent when they host the Houston Texans. Week 5 is easily the biggest game on the schedule, not only because it is the Colts' lone primetime game but because it will be the first game against the arch-rival New England Patriots in three years.
After the visit to Foxborough, the Colts visit the Jets, host the Bills and visit the Raiders before their bye in Week 9.
The Colts then get to spend the entire month of November at home. Combined with their bye week the Colts host three straight at Lucas Oil Stadium when they battle the Jaguars, Titans and Dolphins.
The final five games of the season see the Colts visit the Jaguars and Texans before hosting the Cowboys and Giants and then wrapping up the regular season with a road game against the Titans.
