(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) ESPN’ s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Pacers’ forward Thaddeus Young is “seriously considering” free agency.
He reports the 29-year old is considering declining his $13.7 million player option for the 2018-19 season and becoming an unrestricted free agent.
He is said to be considering the decision because he is searching for a longer-term contract as he is in the prime of his career.
Thaddeus Young averaged 11.8 points and 6.4 rebounds for Indiana this past season.
Young has until June 29 to make a decision.
