(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Andrew Luck drew rave reviews in his first appearance at training camp on Thursday.
Head coach Frank Reich said No. 12 had "a solid day despite windy conditions" and thought Luck "looked strong and consistent". "it was a good day for him," he added.
Luck reportedly completed 11 of 19 passes during the team's 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 drills.
Meanwhile, Luck gave an evaluation of himself saying Thursday was "the best I've felt in a long, long time". "I have some work to do still," he continued. "There will be situations on the practice field that I will not have seen or been in yet, where I need a little extra tempo and speed. There are steps I need to take. I'm not kidding myself."
The Colts will have practice from 1:30-3:30pm on Friday.
A day after the Colts put Denzelle Good on the non-injury football list he was removed after passing a physical. The Colts didn't disclose what Good's injury was but whatever it was has seemed to have improved faster than expected.
Anthony Castonzo and Austin Howard are also on the non-injury football list, though neither are expected to be sidelined for an extended period.
