(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Every Colts fan knows Andrew Luck has had shoulder issues for the past year but according to Zak Keefer of the Indianapolis Star, Luck’s shoulder issues date back to 2015.
Keefer reports Luck was receiving painkiller shots on a weekly basis through the 2015 and 2016 seasons.
In 2015, Luck's season ended after suffering a lacerated kidney and abdominal injury. Luck attempted to get back sooner than later from injury by fast-tracking his recovery and admitted he was too anxious.
"I've gone and skipped steps before and paid for it," he said during the team's offseason program.
The Colts have all said Luck is "full go" in training camp and while he will have rest days he will be a full participant on days he does practice. The Colts open training camp on Wednesday.
