(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Colts second-round pick Tyquan Lewis will reportedly miss a significant portion of the season, according to the Indianapolis Star’s Zak Keefer.
The defensive lineman has missed action due to a foot injury and Keefer reports he is expected to miss nine weeks.
Head coach Frank Reich said Lewis doesn't require surgery but the injury hasn't healed as quickly as they had hoped.
Lewis is a candidate to land on injured reserve once the roster is cut to 53 and he could be designated to return after eight weeks on IR.
